The datahub solution aligns directly to DOD/DON high-level strategic roadmaps, supports NAVSUP BSC’s ongoing strategy aimed at the implementation of a data centric environment, and NAVSUP’s overall goal of increasing data availability and transparency. Implementation would further enable the Navy Data Platform (NDP) to exploit data as an asset in a governed, managed, and secure environment while providing consumers access to high-quality, consolidated datasets enabling key decisions and supporting warfighter readiness.

This contract supports the DOD Chief Information Officer draft DOD Data Strategy (2019) aimed at addressing current capability gaps and outlining a pathway towards advancing current systems and technologies throughout the DOD. This forthcoming strategy provides an overarching construct that reinforces the DOD Digital Modernization Strategy and DON Strategy for Data and Analytics Optimization.
The DON must modernize its data analytics, business intelligence, IT portfolio, and supporting infrastructure to meet the needs of the DOD, Systems Commands (SYSCOM), Combatant Commands (COCOM), and ultimately the warfighter. Similarly, foundational constructs such as data & knowledge management, change & configuration management, and data governance must be developed, deployed and enacted to support this ever-changing information technology landscape.

The datahub solution aligns directly with DOD/DON high-level strategic roadmaps, supporting NAVSUP BSC’s ongoing strategy aimed at the implementation of a data-centric environment, and NAVSUP’s overall goal of increasing data availability and transparency. Implementation would further enable the Navy Data Platform (NDP) to exploit data as an asset in a governed, managed, and secure environment while providing consumers access to high-quality, consolidated datasets enabling key decisions and supporting warfighter readiness.
